Committed and sustainable

The origins of the CCIB are based on environmental management and a corporate responsibility model that aims to respond to the sustainable development of our activity, with economic transparency, conservation of the environment and improvement of the social environment. Currently, the CCIB is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and we set clear objectives to achieve our commitments.

ESG

The CCIB has an integrated strategy in place in accordance with the ESG criteria (Environmental, Social and Governance) to foster the sustainable development of its activity. Since 2004, the corporate responsibility is based on three pillars:

• Financial transparency

• Protecting the environment

• Improving the social environment

Mission, values and ethics

One of the core values that inspires and guides the actions of the CCIB is the commitment to a business policy governed by a consolidated ethical and corporate culture.

In accordance with this main objective, action values are established that identify the CCIB and that it implements in all its procedures.

Sustainability

The events industry makes an environmental, economic and social impact. Therefore, the CCIB includes sustainability criteria throughout the management process of an event, from the pre-production phase to the operational phase.

Social action

Aware that the activity of the CCIB has a very positive impact on its environment, the CCIB works intensively with associations and organisations with which it shares values, to join forces and contribute to the economic and social development of the territory.
