Social action

Within the commitment to its social environment, the CCIB collaborates in projects that help improve the quality of life of people, especially those who suffer a greater risk of social exclusion. In 2022, the CCIB participated in 42 actions and allocated more than €360,000 to social actions with donations of food and material, providing spaces and services and economic donations.

BARCELONA FORUM DISTRICT

The CCIB is a founding member of the Barcelona Forum District (BFD), a unique non-profit association in Europe. It was set up in 2011 with the aim of bringing together those companies, institutions and entities located in the new business area of the Forum area of Barcelona that share common values in terms of social responsibility, environmental commitment and cultural development. Since its origins, among many other actions carried out throughout the year, the BFD has helped in the job placement of more than 700 people.

The CCIB collaborates with municipal entities, associations and institutions through economic donations and participation in campaigns and/or events.

DONATIONS

Occasionally, the events hosted by the CCIB generate surplus materials (bags, notebooks, pens, t-shirts, furniture) or food. To give them an outlet, it makes a donation to schools, centres and associations of the District of Sant Martí.

The people who work in the CCIB are also committed to the social environment and participate in campaigns carried out by associations and entities of the District of Sant Martí.
