Committed to Sustainability
Since its inception, the CCIB has been committed to developing sustainable practices. All actions related to event production follow a responsible management model that takes into account their economic, social, and environmental impact. That is why the CCIB collaborates with community organizations, implements rigorous environmental protection plans, and acts with transparency to ensure that our operations have a positive impact, today and in the future.
ESG Strategy
At the CCIB, we pursue a strategy based on ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) criteria, which define the pillars of our corporate responsibility towards sustainable development.
We have obtained international certifications such as ISO 20121 for Sustainable Event Management, ISO 22000 for Food Safety, ISO 50001 for Energy Management, and the Biosphere certification for Responsible Tourism. In addition, we have set clear objectives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Our Mission, Values and Ethics
At the CCIB, we are firmly committed to ethics and integrity. Our work is guided by a strong corporate culture and values that we put into practice every day across all our processes and relationships.
Sustainable Management
Events inevitably have an environmental impact, especially due to the transport of people and goods, as well as the waste they generate. To minimize this impact, the CCIB applies rigorous sustainability criteria throughout every stage of event planning and production.
If you are an individual or organisation interested in helping the CCIB further reduce the impact of our activity, please contact us at sustainability@ccib.es
Social Commitment
In line with its social commitment, the CCIB carries out projects that help improve people’s quality of life, especially for those in vulnerable situations or at risk of social exclusion.
Just in 2024, the CCIB took part in 33 projects and allocated over €518,000 to social programs, including food and material donations, the provision of spaces and services, the involvement in campaigns and financial contributions.
